Our Story

P.R.O.S. Enterprises was established in 2013 by CEO and Founder, Nicolette Hawthorne. Informed by her years as a former collegiate athlete, military family member, and spouse to an NFL veteran, her personal journey of constant relocation inspired her mission to simplify and elevate the relocation process for individuals and their families.

As the organization continued to grow, what began as a full-service corporate stay provider evolved into the specialized field of short-term sports housing. From 2018 to 2024, MAVRX Sports Housing was listed as one of the fastest growing US companies four times by Inc. 5000. To continue meeting the broader needs of our clients, we diversified our offerings to include real estate, relocation, and commercial and residential cleaning services, with MAVRX Sports Housing (formerly P.R.O.S. Sports Housing) situated as the cornerstone of our operation.

Our commitment to creating a company culture rooted in service to others inspired the groundwork for Pitch Initiative, our nonprofit dedicated to fostering positive change by leveraging the power of sports. Through Pitch, we empower athletes and organizations to give back to the communities that provide them with steadfast and unwavering support season after season.

Why Sports Housing

The rise of sports management and athlete agencies led to an increase in concentrated services, including sports housing. With the emergence of corporate housing providers and short-term stays facilitated through online marketplaces like Airbnb, it became increasingly apparent there may be more cost effective, convenient and comfortable options for teams and players.

As the first to market, MAVRX Sports Housing (formally P.R.O.S. Sports Housing) is the pioneer of fully furnished, short-term accommodations specifically tailored to the needs of professional athletes. Through our continued growth, others took note, and competing companies began to emerge. The demand for such services increased as players’ relocation needs grew even more complex and leagues became more global in scope.
